HISTORIC FACADE RESTORATION
The Firehouse team received approval from the PHDC Percent for Art Program to use the art obligation
funds to restore damaged historic artistic building elements on the building façade. This grant allowed
the team to preserve memory and retain the historic integrity of the building through several intentional
acts of salvage and restoration.

The New Building is fully framed, roofed and the brick is now complete. The Old building is 50% sheet rocked and all finishes have been selected.

Upcoming activities in the New Building include the completion of rough-ins with sheetrock to follow soon thereafter. Kitchen and tile work will will up next in the Old Building.

The framing associated with the construction of the NEW Building is now complete along with roof and window installation. All mechanical, electrical and sprinkler rough-ins have been completed in the OLD Building and sheetrock installation is now underway.

Upcoming activities in the NEW Building include the interior rough-ins and installation of brick and siding on the exterior façade.

Foundations for the parking slab and new building are now completed and we are full swing on the mechanical rough-ins within the existing building. Upcoming activities include the pouring of piers for second floor concrete deck in new building and rough-ins for the sprinkler and electrical system in the historic shell.

Existing building updates include the completion of: all interior framing (including the basement), plumbing and HVAC rough ins are complete. New building updates include the completion of excavation, foundations, underground plumbing, parking slab installation and 2nd level piers and deck are in progress.
